Steve has had a lengthy career across all forms of retail property in Australia and
Asia Pacific.

Prior to Steve’s appointment at CBRE he operated his own Retail Investment/Development company, SGW Properties, and undertook some eight shopping centre developments across Australia to a value of $260 million. Locations ranged as far as Perth and Cairns.

Steve’s involvement in all the shopping centres was comprehensive, from active
sourcing of opportunities in the first instance, negotiation of purchases, all
commercial aspects including major tenant negotiations, retail design, DA approvals, construction and development oversee to end sale.

The portfolio was progressively onsold up to early 2008.

With all the projects Steve was a substantial equity participant and thinks as an
owner does.

Steve also undertook various consultancy appointments for institutional clients over
the period, including the sale of Bankstown Square for in excess of $300million to
Centro on behalf of vendors GPT and GSO as well as various retail planning
assignments such as the major Springfield Town Centre project for James Fielding
(now Mirvac).

Steve has had integral roles in the development or redevelopment of over 100
shopping centres across the full range of retail investment product.

Prior to the operation of SGW Properties Steve was an International Director of
Jones Lang LaSalle for many years and was responsible for all retail services across the Asia Pacific region including retail sales, retail leasing and retail
management. Steve was also a member of the Jones Lang La Salle Asia Pacific
Board as well as being the Australasian representative on the Global Research
Committee and Global Retail Services Committee.

The Jones Lang La Salle Retail Services team with Steve at the helm, prior to
forming SGW Properties, managed approximately 140 shopping centres and had a
total staff of around 500 people in Australasia, across all retail disciplines including
sales, leasing and management.
