CHERMSIDE - QUEENSLAND

The Brisbane suburb of Chermside is located around 10 kilometres north of the Brisbane CBD. Chermside is one of eight MP2 Major Centres (the major concentrations of business and retail activity outside the CBD) defined under the Brisbane City Plan. It supports just over 45,000 square metres of commercial office space, an extensive range of retail services, including the 79,700 square metre Westfield Chermside Shopping Centre, and is a major public transport hub. Westfield Chermside is to be expanded in 2007 and will become the biggest shopping centre in Queensland.
