Our Plant and Machinery valuation division was first established in Melbourne in 1986. Since then it has grown in our region to operate throughout both Australia and New Zealand, providing timely advice on which businesses can base strategic financial decisions.

The most significant recurring issue for any new prospective client is: do we have the required technical knowledge of the assets comprising their business? For this reason we encourage any prospective client to meet with us prior to issuing instructions so we can understand the valuation requirement and communicate our knowledge of the assets comprising their industry. Once this is achieved we will then prepare a robust and defendable valuation of the plant and equipment assets.

Our valuers are determined to provide a high standard of valuation advice, through an independent approach, based on an in-depth understanding of the issues and factors affecting the value of our clients’ assets. The in-depth research undertaken by our qualified valuers is the key to an accurate, defendable valuation.

Our approach to each valuation is to inspect and define the technical specification of the assets requiring valuation, analyse market evidence and provide accurate valuation advice for both standard and specialised assets. Based on the information obtained through undertaking the valuation we can, if required, extend our services to updating the content of our client’s existing fixed asset registers.
