Rebecca  Pearce


Rebecca Pearce is responsible for driving CBRE’s sustainability agenda in the Pacific region. Rebecca leads sustainability strategy development and implementation for the Australia and New Zealand business with a focus on regionally appropriate initiatives in line with CBRE’s global corporate commitments.

In addition to overseeing the management and reduction of CBRE’s corporate environmental footprint Rebecca works internally to raise awareness of sustainability opportunities and innovations. She works closely with senior management, US and Asia sustainability teams to promote our global best practice approach and was instrumental in the achievement of CBRE’s carbon neutrality and certification under the National Carbon Offset Standard in Australia.

Rebecca also works with CBRE business line leaders and clients to create an holistic approach to sustainable property and portfolio management. She assists by identifying sustainability risks and opportunities and responses to changing legislation and market trends. Rebecca works across the CBRE team to create practical sustainability strategies for our clients to add value to their portfolio and their business.

Professional​ Experience

Rebecca has considerable international experience in the construction and property sector. She joins CBRE after 2 years in the Middle East working with Sustainability Advisory Group, advising organizations on business strategy, performance and governance in relation to their social, environmental and economic sustainability. Previous roles include co-leadership of Westpac’s Sustainability Strategy, leadership roles in Westpac’s Property division and senior architectural positions in the UK and Australia.​​
