Sydney, 12 January 2016 – CBRE has announced a key hire for its Office Services business, with Mark Semple joining the Sydney team this month after more than 10 years at DTZ (now Cushman & Wakefield).
Mr Semple is taking up a Director role in CBRE’s Sydney CBD leasing team in a move that adds further firepower to the firm’s Office Services business.
CBRE Regional Director, Office Services Pacific, Andrew Tracey said the focus on growing the team was a key part of firm’s strategy to deliver real advantage to clients.
“Mark is highly regarded by our clients and by our own people and has extensive experience in the Sydney market, spanning more than 17 years,” Mr Tracey said.
“He has been involved in leasing campaigns for some of Sydney’s best known office towers, including 1 Martin Place, 1 Market Street, 1 O’Connell , 175 Pitt, 60 Castlereagh and 1 Market Streets and has worked for a range of clients including, Charter Hall, Dexus, Investa and Lend Lease.”
The recruitment announcement comes after it was revealed that two of Australia’s leading office leasing professionals, John Hickey and Mark Lacey, would be joining CBRE in the newly created roles of Regional Director – Joint Head of Major Projects Australia.
