Adelaide, 18 February 2014 – A prominent aggregation in the Eyre Peninsula is being offered for sale, unlocking a unique opportunity to acquire a large-scale cropping operation in a renowned livestock and wheat region.
Located 550km from Adelaide, the Eyre Peninsula aggregation comprises five quality cropping properties across 5,846 hectares of freehold land near Kyancutta and Mount Damper.
CBRE’s Phil Schell and Chris Holgar have been appointed to sell the Eyre Peninsula Aggregation by vendor Paroo Pastoral Company. The aggregation is being offered for sale via an Expressions of Interest campaign.
Mr Holgar said the property represented an exceptional opportunity to acquire a high quality cropping operation in a prime location.
“There has been a renewed focus on the need for food security, in particular red meat and grains, and this will no doubt be a key factor attracting buyers to this aggregation,” Mr Holgar said.
“More specifically, there has been a lot of activity on the Eyre Peninsula in the cropping space recently, and this aggregation boasts a variety of land systems that are suited for seasonal and management diversity.”
Mr Schell said the aggregation would attract interest from a range of buyers including local operators and large corporates.
“We expect the low interest rate environment, combined with increased buyer confidence and demand, will continue to stimulate buyer activity in the agricultural sector from a range of buyer groups,” Mr Schell said.
Buckleboo Station, comprising 991sqm and located 45km north-west of Kimba, will be offered for sale later in the year.
Expressions of Interest for the Eyre Peninsula aggregation close Friday, March 28.
