May 11, 2016 – American Express (Amex) Global Business Travel (GBT) is set to relocate its Perth headquarters, after inking a new lease at London House at the western end of the CBD.
Amex GBT will relocate from 44 St Georges Terrace to the 218sqm office on level five of London House, 216 St Georges Terrace. Amex GBT has signed a five-year term on the property for approximately $530 per square metre net.
CBRE Director, Office Services, Lachlan Lewis said the property offered a compelling combination of attractive factors.
“London House offers a premium location in the heart of Perth’s financial centre, as well as extensive building amenities, which will add value to Amex GBT’s business operations,” Mr Lewis said.
“An attractive lease incentive package, which included a new turnkey fitout, helped secure Amex GBT as the newest tenant at the renowned St Georges Terrace office building.”
Mr Lewis said the deal was another sign of confidence for the reputable London House, with GBT joining a premium line-up of tenants in the building.
