Adelaide, 02 June 2016 – Western Australian owned Brooks Hire has expanded its empire - making its first foray in the South Australian market with a new premises at Regency Park.
The earthmoving equipment specialist has signed a three-year lease on the 5,000sqm site at 525 South Road, marking the firm’s 11th branch nationally.
Comprising an office/workshop spanning 600sqm, the site also has an approved washdown bay – specifically tailored to the needs of Brooks Hire’s plant hire business. The rental is approximately $100,000 per annum.
CBRE’s Craig Klemich, who negotiated the lease on behalf of Rebbuts Pty Ltd, said the property’s position in the commercial precinct of Regency Park was a key factor underpinning the deal.
“Brooks Hire had a specific requirement for a high profile site with large yard space to accommodate its hiring equipment,” Mr Klemich said.
“Formerly occupied by Boon Logistics, this site was perfectly suited to support Brooks Hire’s South Australian operations, offering both the right size and warehouse requirements.”
Mr Klemich said the deal was also evidence of growing confidence in the Adelaide market.
Brooks Hire has been specialising in the hire of large earthmoving machinery and equipment for 35 years, supplying leading mining and civil companies throughout Australia.
