Sydney, 09 June 2015 – Australian funeral services provider, TJ Andrews Pty Ltd has leased a modern warehouse facility in Smithfield to accommodate its Sydney operations.
The 1,279sqm freestanding warehouse, located at 35 Britton Street, features high internal clearances of 10-13 metres, generous truck marshalling facilities, hardstand fore-court, two on grade roller shutter doors, and office space with high quality finishes.
Elijah Shakir and Ryan Jennings of CBRE negotiated the lease agreement on behalf of vendor C Neil & Cuschieri. The tenant committed to a five year term, with option for five year extension, on an initial rental of $98 per sqm net plus GST and outgoings.
Mr Shakir said the sites modern high quality finishes and desirable location were key factors in securing the national tenant on a long term lease.
“The site’s prime Smithfield location, just 30km west of the Sydney CBD, and close proximity to the Cumberland Highway and M4 and M7 Motorways, was particularly appealing to the tenant.”
“The property boasted a range of amenities, including security features, which were ideally, suited to the tenant’s requirements,” Mr Shakir said.
