Melbourne, 18 June 2015 – Third party logistics company, Cosmic S & S has recently leased an industrial facility in Altona to accommodate its expanding operations.
The 9,077sqm brand new property, located at 18-34 Aylesbury Drive, features high clearance warehouse, large super awning and corporate office space over two levels.
The lease was negotiated by CBRE’s Todd Grima, on behalf of Australand. The tenant has committed to a three year term with up to six years extension, on an initial rental of $75/sqm net per annum.
Mr Grima said the tenant was attracted to the sites prominent location in the tightly held Access Altona Estate, offering easy access to the Princess Freeway and Western Ring Road.
“The sites recently developed facilities and prime location within minutes of major arterial roads was particularly appealing to Cosmic S &S, due to the convenience of servicing its clients across Melbourne.”
“Altona’s positioning as an industrial hub and its location just 13 km south-west of the Melbourne CBD has driven increasing tenant interest in the region recently,” Mr Grima said.
