Brisbane, 29 July 2013-CBRE’s industrial business has strengthened its position in the Brisbane marketplace, after it welcomed three new faces to the team.
Nick Witheriff has recently rejoined the Industrial and Logistics Services team after travelling through North America, Europe and Asia for 18 months. In his new role as manager, Mr Witheriff will focus on the Australian Trade Coast precincts, specialising in the Brisbane Airport and Port of Brisbane regions.
CBRE’s Queensland Industrial Director Ed Bull said Mr Witheriff’s reappointment added significant strength to the Brisbane industrial team given his depth of experience and strong performance in the industry.
“Nick originally joined the Industrial and Logistics Services team in 2008 and quickly established himself as a successful property professional in the Brisbane market, achieving great success in brokerage work around the Gateway areas,” Mr Bull said.
“His ongoing relationships with international, local and private clients have proven to be a key element to his success in the property industry to date, and will continue to play a pivotal role moving forward.”
In tandem with Mr Witheriff’s return to CBRE, Ben Lyons and Dan Munnich have also joined the Brisbane team.
Mr Lyons, who made the move from Chase Commercial, has developed a strong loyal client base and market knowledge, having specialised in the Port of Brisbane region for the past two years.
“In his new role as manager, Ben will draw and build on his strong relationships within this pivotal area of the industrial market,” Mr Bull explained.
Mr Munnich has more than three years’ experience within the industrial real estate sector, having held a managerial position with Wright Property Group.
Mr Bull said the appointment would help leverage the team’s presence in Brisbane’s Trade Coast region.
"Dan has significant experience in negotiating vacant possession and investment sales, as well as leasing transactions - both of which will add considerable value to our business,” Mr Bull remarked, adding that the three new appointments make for a very solid platform when integrated with the existing nucleus of Sam Higgins, Pete Turnbull and Mark Gilbride.
“I am confident that with the addition of these three faces to our team, we will continue to achieve outstanding results for our clients and grow our business.”
