Sydney, 1 September 2015 – CBRE has appointed leading property professional Amanda Steele to head its Pacific Asset Services business.
Ms Steele is currently CBRE’s Pacific Head of Sustainability, overseeing sustainability opportunities and innovations for clients and for CBRE as a business. Her new appointment as Senior Managing Director, Asset Services, follows a decision by Phill Rockliff to leave CBRE following a short transition period.
CBRE President & CEO, Pacific, Ray Pittman said; “Asset Services is one of our largest business lines in Pacific, with excellent opportunities for continued development. Our growth strategy incorporates a drive for innovation, creativity, exemplary client care and a relentless focus on adding value in all that we do. This was very much at the forefront of our thinking when appointing Amanda to lead Asset Services into the next phase of growth and development.”
Ms Steele is highly regarded both internally and externally as a leader in her field, as highlighted by her receipt of the RICS Australia Property Professional of the Year award for 2015. She joined CBRE two years ago after a successful career at Stockland, during which time she worked in operations, development and corporate affairs, at all times focusing on Sustainability.
Ms Steele sits on the NSW PCA Sustainability Committee, the Better Buildings Partnership for the City of Sydney, the Green Star Steering Committee for the GBCA and is also a strong advocate for gender equality and social justice.
“Amanda has formed diverse teams in many organisations and delivered change strategies to ensure success in transforming culture and processes in various industries. She brings a new vision, energy and approach to the role, passion for our people, and a commitment to delivering smart, creative and innovative solutions for our clients,” Mr Pittman said.
CBRE will be appointing a new Pacific leader for Sustainability, with details to follow.
