Brisbane, 17 September 2013 – An owner occupier has paid $2.5 million + GST to acquire a high profile corporate office and showroom in Richlands.
CBRE Senior Negotiator Mark Gilbride negotiated the sale of 81 Kelliher Road to Tawamist Pty Ltd – an importer and exporter of computer equipment.
“The property is strategically located, offering over 100 metres of uninterrupted frontage to the Centenary Motorway,” Mr Gilbride said.
“This was a key attraction for Tawamist who intend to open a retail showroom at the property, which will accommodate their rapidly growing Brisbane business.”
The facility has a total building area of 2,635sqm and is situated on a large site of 4,349sqm. It includes 450sqm of corporate office space and a warehouse accessed via three roller doors.
Mr Gilbride said the property was ideal for the requirements of Tawamist, who were relocating from a much smaller facility in the same suburb.
“Tawamist were keen to remain in Richlands but needed a much larger facility, having quadrupled in size in recent times,” Mr Gilibrde said.
“This property is considerably larger than the existing 500sqm unit they occupy and will give them capacity to accommodate the continued growth in their business moving forward.”
The Kelliher Road property is situated 13km south-west of the Brisbane CBD within the established western Brisbane industrial precinct. It was previously occupied by ASI Shop Fittings.
