Melbourne, 24 October 2014 – A property on Glenbarry Road, Campbellfield has sold at auction for $2.86 million to a local owner occupier.
CBRE’s Dean Hunt and Lindsay Davidson sold the property at 26-28 Glenbarry Road under instructions from Ferrier Hodgson, acting as agents for the mortgagee.
The property sits on a land area of 15,060sqm, with two buildings on site. One comprises a warehouse and office space, sitting on 4,217sqm, while the other is used as factory/warehouse on 3,245sqm. The buildings are separated by a 22m wide concrete hardstand, linking directly to driveways on either side of the property as well as a large rear yard.
The property is classified as an Industrial 1 Zone, offering a wide range of compatible uses. It offers close proximity to Sydney Road and surrounding freeways, and has extensive frontage onto Glenbarry Road with two points of access.
The property also benefits from key infrastructure in the area, including the Hume Freeway and the development of the Intermodal Inland Port at the Austrak Business Park. Local amenities within the area include a number of major banking business centres, fast food outlets and a major shopping precinct.
Mr Hunt said; “The property provided a great opportunity for owner occupiers, investors and developers alike, due to flexibility around building configuration and access.”
