Sydney, 30 October 2013- Akamai Technologies Pty Limited has leased the entire seventh level – comprising 1,056sqm – of an A Grade tower at 76 Berry Street in North Sydney.
Located on the corner of Walker and Berry streets, the tower comprises ten office levels and two levels of basement car parking, as well as ground floor retail and restaurant space.
CBRE’s Stefan Perkowski negotiated the deal on behalf of lessor Local Government Super. The tenant has committed to a five-year term, with an initial rental of $540 net per square metre annually. Cushman and Wakefield’s Director of Occupier Services, Robert Johnston, advised Akamai Technologies.
The building’s owner is committed to industry-leading green initiatives: 76 Berry St has a tri-gen plant undergoing commissioning as part of a commitment to increase the building’s NABERS rating to a six stars without the use of green energy.
