Melbourne, 03 November 2014 – Three strategically located stone fruit properties, situated in some of Australia’s most renowned growing regions, are being offered for sale by Expression of Interest.
CBRE Agribusiness has been appointed by the vendors to sell the premium properties, which include Lowana Fruits in South Australia’s Riverland region, Kingaroy Stone Fruit in Kumbia, Queensland and Riverbend Orchards in Victoria.
Located at 3655 Murray Valley Highway, approximately 32 kilometres north-east of the highly regarded Swan Hill growing region, Riverbend Orchards boasts an impressive varietal balance, with 125 hectares of sought after peach and nectarine varieties planted across the 161 hectare landholding.
Kingaroy Stone Fruit, situated at 104 Kumbia-Minmore Road, is a 294 hectare property comprising 35 hectares of various peach and nectarine varieties, 25 hectares of arable land that can be further developed and approximately three hectares of remnant vegetation. Lowana Fruits, located at 207 Namoi Street, is an established 56 hectare landholding accommodating 42 hectares of premium peach and nectarine varieties in the Riverland region.
CBRE’s Phil Schell said the properties represented an outstanding opportunity to secure a foothold in Australia’s thriving stone fruit industry.
“This is a unique opportunity to acquire three premium, established and high yielding stone fruit properties in Australia’s most highly regarded horticultural regions,” Mr Schell said.
“These properties are among the nation’s most respected horticultural operations, with established reputations for quality, quantity and consistency.”
The three landholdings also benefit from a range of improvements, including packing sheds, cool rooms, machinery sheds and residential dwellings.
The properties are being offered for sale as a portfolio or individually.
