Sydney, 5 November 2013 – CBRE has appointed Matt Haddon as the new Regional Director of its strongly performing Industrial & Logistics Services business line.
Mr Haddon has been with CBRE for 18 years and has held a variety of roles in the firm’s industrial business and at a senior management level. He has led CBRE’s Victorian business for the past seven years and at the same time has contributed to the success of the firm’s Industrial Investments business.
CBRE President & CEO, Australia & New Zealand, Tom Southern said Mr Haddon would assume his new role on January 1, 2014.
“Matt’s depth of experience, strong relationships and knowledge of the business will help further strengthen our Industrial platform and our client service offering at a time when the industrial market is attracting heightened investor and occupier interest,” Mr Southern said.
In tandem with Mr Haddon’s appointment, Cameron Grier is to assume full responsibility for CBRE’s Victorian business as Senior Managing Director, commencing in January 2014, while Frank Oliveri will take over the leadership of CBRE’s Parramatta office in the role of Managing Director.
Mr Grier joined CBRE some 15 years ago and has been Managing Director of the firm’s Parramatta office since 2009 – a role in which he has transformed CBRE’s market position to be the leading business in the rapidly expanding western region of Sydney.
His successor, Mr Oliveri, has been with CBRE for almost six years and has significant leadership experience as well as a variety of experience in state government roles including positions on the Greater Western Sydney Economic Development Board and the Local Government Association of NSW.
“These changes demonstrate the depth of leadership and talent that exists within our business and our commitment to ensuring we are providing the highest level of service and support to our clients,” Mr Southern said.
