Sydney, 1 November 2013- Following other recent motel sales in the region, the owners of the Forresters Beach Resort on the Central Coast have put their property on the market.
Located at 960 The Entrance Road in Forresters Beach, the freehold resort is set on a substantial 8,213sqm site and features 34 spacious and well maintained guest rooms, a currently under-utilised function venue that can cater to 300 people and a three bedroomed owners residence.
Located within 1.5hrs of Sydney CBD, the corporate motel and function centre is a short walk to Forresters Beach, as well as being moments from Terrigal and The Entrance.
Andrew Jackson from CBRE and Ray Larkin of Manenti Quinlan & Associates are selling the property via Public Auction on Thursday 14 November.
Mr Larkin said the property has huge potential for a motivated owner operator to drive revenues and profitability.
“The current owners of the property live on site and have enjoyed running the motel in recent years, however they are now planning their retirement and spending more of their own time travelling,” said Mr Larkin.
“They felt now was the right time to sell, given the recent sale of Peninsula Motel & Apartments and the Peninsula Palms Motel in nearby Nelson Bay for a higher than expected price at auction,” he added.
