Brisbane, 21 October 2013-Bathroom manufacturer Project Modular Pty Ltd has leased a commercial facility in Brisbane’s north to accommodate its expanding housing operations.
Located at 43 Raubers Road, Northgate, the 7,129sqm building comprises 300sqm of office space and 6,829sqm of factory floor area on a 1.3ha site.
CBRE’s Sam Higgins negotiated the lease deal on behalf of lessor Haldamil Pty Ltd. Project Modular has committed to a three-year term with a three-year option.
Mr Higgins said the property’s large external yard area, dimensions of the factory and gantry cranes were key factors behind the deal.
“Project Modular’s lease requirements grew from 4,000sqm to 7,000sqm and the Raubers Road building offered the additional space, with approximately 5,500sqm of external handstand area and seven gantry cranes,” Mr Higgins said.
“The 210m length of the building has also enabled the tenant to install multiple production lines.”
Project Modular, which was previously based in Geebung, is the leading manufacturer of prefabricated modular bathrooms in Australia and now offers full room, multi-level solutions.
