Melbourne, 26 November 2013 - A private buyer has acquired 373sqm of prime office space in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD for $1,539,000.
The Nonda Katsalidis-designed, 14-level commercial office building is located on the corner of La Trobe and Russell streets.
CBRE’s Tom Tuxworth, Ed Wright and Chris Pharr negotiated the deal on behalf of the vendor, not-for-profit organisation Interact Australia. The space was sold with a two-year leaseback to Interact Australia.
Mr Tuxworth said the sale was the fifth strata whole floor to transact in Melbourne over the past fortnight – a reflection of the strong demand for Melbourne CBD office space currently being seen.
“The low interest rate environment is really fuelling buyer appetite to invest in commercial property,” Mr Tuxworth said.
