A flagship Barbeques Galore concept store is set to open this weekend at Everton Park following a major redevelopment of the one-time Masters Home Improvement site.
CBRE’s Andrew Brimson and Sam Macgregor negotiated the 1,091sqm lease, providing Barbeques Galore with its first ‘Explorer’ store concept in Queensland, and the group’s second such store in Australia
The deal is the latest at the 752 Stafford Road site, which is situated in Brisbane’s inner north-western corridor, just 8km from the CBD.
The site has been transformed into a thriving large format retail centre following recent deals with major retailers such as Amart Furniture, Supercheap Auto and BCF.
Offering a gross lettable area of 12,547sqm and 340 parking bays, the centre benefits from a high-profile position with excellent exposure to Stafford Road as well as prominent façade and pylon signage opportunities.
Barbeques Galore has committed to the centre for an initial seven-year lease term.

Mr Sam Macgregor added; “The centre benefits from multi-directional access off two arterial roads – Stafford Road and South Pine Road. Furthermore, construction has started on the new Everton Park Link Road, which runs along the western boundary of the site and will include a new access point into the centre.”
The centre adjoins the established and strong trading Woolworths Everton Park shopping centre, as well as the new Monarc Health & Childcare Hub, which is currently under construction.
It is opposite the Coles anchored Everton Plaza shopping centre and adjacent to Harvey Norman, Spotlight and Anaconda.
The property services a substantial Main Trade Area population estimated at circa 264,150 with large format retail expenditure estimated at $910 million annually.
