CBRE has opened a new showroom in Melbourne’s Chinatown precinct, to further enhance the firm’s specialist service offering to a broad client base.
Located on the corner of Little Bourke and Russell Streets, the new CBRE Chinatown showroom will provide direct support to the Asian community, encompassing a complete range of property services.
CBRE’s National Director, Mark Wizel, said the new showroom marked an exciting time for the firm as it continued to build its capabilities in tailoring services to a wide range of active investors as well as those looking to enter the market for the first time.
“Many of our clients who have been actively involved in real estate over the past six years have quickly caught on to the importance of understanding intimate nuisances relating to Asian capital,” Mr Wizel said.
“The launch of our Asian Services team in 2008, and now the opening of a dedicated Chinatown showroom, will enable us to continue our market-leading specialisation in this growing sector of the market.”
CBRE Senior Managing Director for Victoria, Mark Coster, said the launch of the Melbourne Chinatown showroom reflected the firm’s commitment to its clients, and acknowledgement around the importance of creating client specific services and solutions.
“We recognise that the needs of our clients are constantly changing, therefore, it is important that we remain dynamic and ever-changing in the services that we deliver, to ensure that we achieve the absolute best outcomes,” Mr Coster said.
“We are committed to servicing our growing Asian client base and helping advise them in the best way possible on all aspects of their real estate interests.”
The launch of the firm’s Melbourne Chinatown showroom follows a strong period of Asian outbound investment, with CBRE selling more than $12 billion in property to Chinese investors and developers since 2009.
CBRE Melbourne Chinatown will officially open on June 28th with a traditional ceremony commencing at 10.45am. Melbourne’s Lord Mayor the Honourable Robert Doyle will be the guest of honour.
