CBRE Queensland has strengthened its property management capabilities with the appointment of Christopher Hefferan to lead its new industrial specialisation.
Mr Hefferan will assume the role of Senior Industrial Portfolio Manager – driving the growth of CBRE’s specialisation in industrial property management.
He will work closely with CBRE’s wider industrial & logistics teams, including leasing, sales and valuations, to drive asset optimisation and deliver the depth and breadth CBRE’s industrial strengths.
CBRE Senior Director, Property Management, David McGuigan said the appointment would significantly bolster the team’s capabilities.
“This new role will solidify our focus on the industrial sector in the property management platform, ensuring we can now provide a greater degree of specialisation within the industrial space, as well as service integration and collaboration across our wider business,” Mr McGuigan said.
“After a 12-month search for the right person to take on this role, we are extremely pleased to promote Chris from within our wider Property Management team to drive this organic growth function.”
Mr Hefferan first joined CBRE in 2013 as a property manager with the firm’s Sunshine Coast team, before assuming a role with the Brisbane team in 2015.
