CBRE is pleased to announce a number of significant appointments and promotions to its New South Wales Capital Markets - Office team to enable the team to continue to provide market leading services to local and international clients.
Michael Andrews has been promoted to the newly created role as State Director, Capital Markets – Office and will work alongside Scott-Gray Spencer to form a strategic leadership partnership.
In his new role, Mr Andrews will be responsible for overseeing both the NSW team and CBRE’s strategic approach to servicing its institutional clients in Australia and abroad. Mr Andrews, who has more than 22 years of experience in commercial real estate, had been serving as Senior Director of CBRE’s International Investments team.
In addition to the promotion of Mr Andrews, James Parry, who was most recently Knight Frank’s Australian Managing Director of Capital Markets, will join CBRE in 2017 as State Director, Capital Markets – Office.
Thomas Gnieser will meanwhile return to CBRE’s Australian business to take on a new role as Senior Director, Capital Markets – Office. Mr Gnieser worked in CBRE’s Sydney International Investments team for nine years, prior to a role with Union Investment Real Estate Investments and his current position as a Senior Director in CBRE’s Capital Markets business in Japan. He has extensive experience with CBRE’s offshore clients.
