Chief Executive Women (CEW) last night announced a new partnership with CBRE. Under the new arrangements, CEW’s executive team will co-locate with the global real estate services firm at its Pacific headquarters in Sydney, and CBRE will be known as CEW’s Premises Partner.
The partnership was announced at CEW’s prestigious 2017 Annual Dinner held in Sydney at the International Convention Centre, which is attended by CEOs and their management teams from across the country.
CEW will transition from its current offices in Bridge Street to CBRE’s 363 George Street headquarters by the end of the year.
CEW’s CEO Heather McIlwain said CBRE’s strong commitment to advancing diversity in the workplace, spearheaded by the firm’s Pacific CEO Ray Pittman, is a great fit for CEW and its mission.
“Ray is genuinely committed to achieving gender balance at CBRE, and is a highly respected member of the Property Council of Australia’s Male Champions of Change group” Heather McIlwain said.
CBRE’s NSW Senior Managing Director Cam Grier said the agile working environment at 363 George Street is an important feature of the partnership agreement with CEW – providing the opportunity for CEW’s executive team to work alongside CBRE’s Sydney workforce in an Activity Based Working (ABW) environment.
“Advancing diversity and inclusion in the workplace is core to our strategy to attract, develop and retain the top talent in the property industry,” Mr Grier said.
“This is an exciting partnership and one which highlights both the benefits of our ABW environment and the strides we’re making in workplace diversity and inclusion.”
