Watpac and Smaart Recruitment have emerged as the latest tenants to commit to Melbourne’s 385 Little Lonsdale Street – boosting the office building’s occupancy rate to 100%.
CBRE’s Patrick Mount and Scott McGlone negotiated both lease commitments on behalf of the owner, Giancorp Property Group.
Construction company Watpac will use the space as a site office for the new Union Tower Apartments while Smaart Recruitment has leased levels 1 & 2 in the building to house its sales & customer service focused recruitment agency
Both deals were for circa 300sqm of space, with Watpac taking a 2.5 year lease and Smaart Recruitment committing to a five-year lease.
Mr Mount said recent refurbishment works and the building’s close proximity to the Melbourne Central retail and transport hub had been key attractions for both tenants.
