Industry veterans Mark Witheriff and Tania Moore have returned to CBRE’s Gold Coast business.
Mr Witheriff has rejoined as Gold Coast Managing Director while Ms Moore has returned as Senior Director, Office Leasing.
CBRE’s Senior Managing Director, Queensland, Bruce Baker said Mr Witheriff and Ms Moore were recognised as industry leaders on the Gold Coast and their return after a stint at Knight Frank would drive the continued growth of CBRE’s Gold Coast business.
David Corke, who has led CBRE’s Gold Coast office in recent times as Director in Charge, will also play a senior role in ongoing business growth.
“As one of Australia’s fastest growing regions, the Gold Coast is a key area of focus for CBRE,” Mr Baker said.
“Mark and Tania are highly regarded by our clients and they have an enviable track record and reputation in the Gold Coast market. We’re delighted that they have rejoined CBRE to drive the ongoing growth and success of our Gold Coast business.”
Mr Witheriff started his career at CBRE’s Gold Coast office when it opened in the late 1980’s while Ms Moore had a 14-year career with CBRE’s Office Leasing team.
“These appointments highlight our ongoing focus on attracting leading talent to ensure we’re providing the highest level of service and support for our clients,” Mr Baker said.
Mr Witheriff noted that while that current environment was challenging, the Gold Coast had matured as a city, particularly over the past 10 years, underpinned by major infrastructure projects such as the Light Rail and the facilities delivered for the Commonwealth Games.
“The continuation of the Light Rail Stage 3A, plus the strong focus on domestic tourism, alongside the cutting-edge facilities within the health and knowledge precinct, puts the Gold Coast in a much stronger position than ever in its history,” Mr Witheriff said.
“Tania and I are delighted to return to CBRE, joined by one of our former Knight Frank colleagues, Nyree Lawson - a senior property manager who has been appointed to a portfolio of properties including Southport’s A-grade office building, Seabank.”
