In a recruitment coup, one of South Australia’s most experienced Capital Markets professionals will be joining CBRE in the New Year.
Ian Thomas has signed to commence with CBRE in January 2017 as Director of Capital Markets, South Australia after a successful 11 years with Colliers International.
In his most recent role, Mr Thomas headed Colliers’ South Australian Capital Markets and Agency teams.
CBRE’s South Australian Managing Director, Alistair Laycock, said the appointment would further strengthen CBRE’s market leading Capital markets business.
“Ian’s professionalism, exceptionally strong client relationships and exemplary track record make this an extremely significant appointment for both our local and national Capital Markets businesses,” Mr Laycock said.
A licensed auctioneer, Mr Thomas has sealed deals in excess of AU$1 billion in the South Australian property market since 2008. This has included the sales of 108 North Terrace for AU$86.5 million, 100 Waymouth St for AU$73 million and 400 King William St for AU$97.9 million.
