GKR Karate has selected a space in Frenchs Forest for its expansion in the Northern Beaches.
It will open its newest Sydney dojo in Suite 1A/4-6 Aquatic Drive, a mezzanine office that sits above a distribution facility for dairy firm Parmalat.
The karate club – which operates in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and USA – takes on the 450sqm facility at a gross rent of $220/sqm on a five-year lease.
Newly-renovated office space with high ceilings and extensive natural light is complemented by full amenities including showers, an exclusive entry and 15 allocated parking spaces.
CBRE’s Ben Byford secured the tenancy on behalf of the private landlord.
“GKR Karate inspected the building earlier this year but put its move on hold when COVID-19 hit,” Mr Byford said.
“They were able to agree terms as restrictions eased, and now have a fantastic new Northern Beaches dojo to add to an extensive list of Australian clubs.”
