CBRE has recruited four leading property professionals to further strengthen its Adelaide platform and launch new South Australian service offerings.

Former JLL executive Paul McKay has been appointed to lead CBRE’s South Australian Commercial Valuation & Advisory Services business while Andy Gibson has relocated from CBRE’s Melbourne office to Adelaide to establish a new South Australian Building Depreciation & Cost Consultancy (BDCC) business.

In other appointments, Alexandra McGee has joined CBRE to establish a new South Australian, Advisory & Transaction Services – Office Occupier business to guide tenants with major leasing decisions, while Benjamin Challenger has joined CBRE Property Management in the company’s growing Host workplace experience services team.

CBRE’s Senior Managing Director for South Australia, Alistair Laycock, said; “These appointments highlight our ongoing focus on ensuring we have the right people and skill-sets to best service our clients. While 2020 was obviously a difficult year, we’ve entered 2021 with a renewed emphasis on strengthening our platform and introducing new offerings to help our clients navigate the current market conditions.”

Mr McKay has joined CBRE from JLL, bringing over 17 years of valuations experience. He will operate across South Australia and the Northern Territory, harnessing his expertise across the major commercial asset classes with a focus on institutional industrial assets and specialised assets such as petrol stations and automotive dealerships.

To assist clients with building, depreciation and cost consultancy services, CBRE has also established a South Australian arm of its highly successful BDCC business, led by Andy Gibson. Mr Gibson has over 12 years of experience undertaking consultancy services for public and private sector clients, including 5 ½ years with CBRE’s well established BDCC team.

In tandem, CBRE has established a specialised Advisory & Transaction Services – Office Occupier business in South Australia led by Alexandra McGee. Ms McGee brings over six years of property management and leasing experience, including her most recent role as a Senior Leasing Executive for Savills.

Benjamin Challenger has taken on the role of new Head Concierge at 91 King William Street in a further expansion of CBRE’s global Host platform in the Adelaide market. Host’s intuitive technology and customer-focused teams transform the way building managers and communities interact with property.
