Brisbane, 25 August, 2014 – Limited supply for modern buildings in Brisbane’s prominent industrial hubs has underpinned increased leasing activity in the suburb of Eagle Farm.
Sam Higgins and Nick Witheriff from CBRE's Industrial & Logistics Services team negotiated the leasing of a 1,680sqm warehouse facility at 280 Cullen Ave on behalf of lessor Socap Pty Ltd.
Global pipe supplier LFF Australia has committed to a five-year term on the property, with options.
Mr Higgins said the property represented an outstanding opportunity to secure a prime position in one of Brisbane’s most sought after industrial precincts.
“Modern industrial facilities in Eagle Farm are in strong demand due to a continuing shortage of available stock that meet this specification,” Mr Higgins said.
“The specifications and standard of this building were suitable to a company such as LFF, which has a global presence.”
Mr Higgins added: “LFF required a tilt slab warehouse but needed the facility to present to its clientele in a similar manner to corporate standard. The office accommodation is equally impressive and the choices in Eagle Farm, Hendra and Pinkenba were limited.”
The LFF Group is a major supplier of pipes, fittings, flanges and valves in a variety of materials, to the oil, gas, petrochemical, power and water industries around the world.
