Life insurance provider MLC Life will relocate its Perth headquarters to Investa Office Fund’s 66 St Georges Terrace office tower in the CBD.
MLC Life will occupy a 294sqm tenancy on level eight of the 11-storey office building.
Located in a prime position on Perth’s main business strip, 66 St Georges Terrace underwent an extensive lobby refurbishment in 2016 and is anchored by tenants including SAI Global, Dimension Data and Defence Force Recruiting. Australia Post is located on the ground floor.
CBRE’s Andrew Denny negotiated the lease deal on behalf of the Investa Office Fund.
Asking annual rent for the premises was $535 per square metre.
“The key attraction of this property for MLC Life was the brand new, speculative fitout recently installed, which met many of MLC’s requirements,” Mr Denny said.
The fitout comprises modern meeting rooms, waiting area, 22 new workstations and breakout space with full kitchen.
The building’s end of trip facilities, and recently refurbished ground floor lobby were added attractions.
