Construction giant Multiplex has secured additional office space in Perth’s CBD, near its major Elizabeth Quay project.
Multiplex has signed a three-year lease for a 510sqm presence within 28 The Esplanade.
The space overlooks the new tower Multiplex is building for Chevron at Elizabeth Quay, on the corner of The Esplanade and Barrack Street.
CBRE was retained by 28 The Esplanade’s new owner, Redhill Partners, as the leasing agent for the property and secured Multiplex as a tenant during the settlement period.
“The location appealed to Multiplex, especially its proximity to Elizabeth Quay, trains and buses, along with the building’s high-quality end of trip facilities,” CBRE’s James Phelan said.
“Redhill Partners is a very proactive landlord and has big plans for the asset including a full-floor spec fitout with panoramic views over Elizabeth Quay.”
Redhill Partners has opened its Perth office at 28 The Esplanade and welcomed Daniel Johnston to the Redhill team to manage its Australian portfolio.
“The opening of the Perth office will strengthen Redhill Partners’ investment strategy for its Perth portfolio and aim to boost investment activity nationally,” Mr Johnston said.
