Modern Teaching Aids (MTA) has become the latest company to secure space in Moreton Bay’s Brendale industrial precinct after signing an 8,304sqm lease agreement.
CBRE’s Hugh Adnam and Dillon Murphy negotiated the lease over the 250 South Pine Road warehouse/distribution facility with Brendale Commercial’s Stann Topp.
The deal has been signed amid rapid national growth for MTA, a company which carries Australia’s largest range of teaching resources and education supplies for primary schools, high schools, secondary schools, childcare centres, and OOSH facilities.
The 2ha Brendale site includes a small 304sqm operations dispatch office and an 8,000sqm warehouse offering 10 metre clearance, high grade sprinklers and multiple loading docks and dock levelers.
MTA has taken a seven-year lease at $100/sqm plus outgoings and GST.
Mr Adnam said the property design and location was ideally suited to MTA’s growth requirements.
“With further business expansion planned, the size of the warehouse and its location in Brendale were major drawcards,” Mr Adnam said.
Mr Murphy added; “The deal continues the trend for larger lease requirements in the Brendale industrial precinct and surrounding suburbs. Multiple transactions around this size have been transacted over the past two years as companies target opportunities in this growth corridor.”
