JD Lighting is set to open a new flagship store in Brisbane’s North Lakes in June 2019.
Located at 81 Flinders Parade, the 928sqm tenancy represents the company’s second Brisbane showroom and its first in North Brisbane.
CBRE’s Sam Macgregor and Sergio Demetriou negotiated JD Lighting’s requirement for the seven-year lease with options.
“North Lakes was a prime target for expansion due to the area’s strong demographic profile, geographic position and rapid population growth.” Mr Macgregor said.
“The immediate mix of strong-performing neighbouring retailers such as Bunnings Warehouse, Costco, Total Tools and Officeworks was another key factor, with the majority of Flinders Parade retailers well exceeding monthly sales targets.”
The property was designed to meet JD Lighting’s specifications, offering excellent internal height and visibility with a large activated glass frontage and signage opportunities.
“We are very excited to see the final showroom fitout, given the high-end finishes that JD Lighting are renowned for following several award wins at the Brisbane Home Show.” Mr Demetriou said.
The property also includes a second 499sqm freestanding showroom now available for lease, made up of 369sqm on ground and 130sqm of mezzanine.
Chris Dimitrious, CEO, JD Lighting said; “This will be one of our newest display centres in Queensland along with our commercial showroom and 3,000 sqm warehouse in Parkinson which is dedicated to service our commercial, industrial and retail clients nationally.”
"Our team has assisted in the design of the building with a goal to create a lighting showroom with an in-store experience like no other."
