Building products company Prochoice Global Investments will relocate its Melbourne headquarters to Rowville after paying $4.7 million for the former home of Award Brands.
CBRE’s David Aiello and James Jorgensen negotiated the deal, which involves a 4,044sqm facility at 57-63 Henderson Road.
The property was listed for sale by Award Brands after it consolidated and relocated its business to new 11,000sqm headquarters in Dandenong South.
“CBRE was engaged to sell the Rowville facility following the successful divestment of Award Brands’ original head office on Burwood Highway,” Mr Aiello said.
“The Henderson Road site ideally suited Prochoice’s needs, with the firm having outgrown is existing premises in Bayswater.”
Mr Jorgensen said Rowville had become a popular option for expanding Bayswater occupiers unable to secure alternate sites in what remained a very tightly held precinct.
