An e-commerce supply chain solutions provider has leased a speculative 21,830sqm development by Dexus.
1-5 Felstead Drive is located in Truganina, a premium industrial development 18kms from the Melbourne CBD.
Winit Trade Pty Ltd has leased the 21,530sqm warehouse and 300sqm two level office on a long-term lease deal. Headquarted in China, Winit is expanding rapidly in Australia, with the Truganina property its first facility in Melbourne to accommodate its growth.
CBRE’s Todd Grima negotiated the lease on behalf of Dexus.
Mr Grima said Winit was attracted to the property due to the high-quality space developed by Dexus, as well as its location.
“Foundation Road, Truganina is at the centre of Victoria’s warehousing and transport hub providing an estate where infrastructure, amenity and access are unparalleled. The tenant was drawn to the site due to building fundamentals on offer including a 4,050sqm super awning for all weather loading and 10.4m minimum warehouse clearance offering a huge cubic capacity,” Mr Grima said.
“We committed the tenant during construction with the lease commencing when the building is finished, resulting in zero vacancy on completion.”
