Strengthening market spurs promotions in CBRE's Gold Coast team
| 29 August 2016
CBRE has announced a series of mid-year promotions in its Gold Coast office including the appointment of Lachlan Harris to a newly created role as Head of Agency.
CBRE’s Gold Coast Managing Director Jonathan O’Brien said strengthening market conditions were underpinning the continued growth of CBRE’s Gold Coast business and the expansion of its residential and commercial teams.
In addition to the new Head of Agency role, CBRE has promoted Tyrone Corban from a sales executive role to the position as Senior Relationship Manager in the Gold Coast Residential Projects team.
Kayne Thornhill has also been promoted to take on a negotiator/analyst role in the Metropolitan Investments team.
“The performance of our Gold Coast office is continuing to go from strength to strength amid an ongoing recovery in the local economy,” Mr O’Brien said.
“These promotions reflect our confidence in the outlook for the Gold Coast market and position us to provide the highest level of service and support to our clients.”
Of particular note is the new Head of Agency role, under which Lachlan Harris will have overall responsibility for the firm’s sales and leasing professionals.
“Lachlan brings close to 20 years of property industry experience to his new role, in addition to strong relationships with key owners and developers,” Mr O’Brien said.
“His promotion will ensure we retain our market leading position in the Gold Coast agency sector as the market continues to strengthen.”
Mr Harris was previously Director of CBRE’s Gold Metropolitan Investments team.
