One of Perth’s most well-known pubs, the Victoria Park Hotel in Perth’s inner south-east, has been listed for sale.
Located on an expansive 5,330sqm site fronting Albany Highway, the popular two-storey venue first opened its doors for trading in 1927 and was substantially refurbished in 2000.
The Victoria Park Hotel includes a sports bar and bistro, restaurant dining, alfresco areas, upper level accommodation, function and conference facilities, and a drive-thru bottleshop currently not in use. The venue, which offers 31.46 metres’ frontage to Albany Highway, generates an annual income of approximately $3.85 million.
CBRE Hotels’ Chloe Mason and Ryan McGinnity have been appointed to market the Victoria Park Hotel leasehold, which is being offered with a potential 35-year lease for the right operator to take over the already established and well-maintained premises.
Ms Mason said the venue benefitted from a high profile location in the heart of Victoria Park’s restaurant and bar strip.
“Located three kilometres south-east of the CBD, just over the Causeway, the Victoria Park Hotel is centrally positioned in one of Perth’s most popular dining precincts and well serviced by public transport that frequent the Albany Highway strip,” Ms Mason said.
Mr McGinnity said the venue had a consistent trading history with regular patronage that would help position it for continued success in the future.
“The Town of Victoria Park is expected to double its population over the next 30 years, which will only add to the profitability of local businesses such as the Victoria Park Hotel,” Mr McGinnity said.
“The venue’s location on the outskirts of the Perth CBD, proximity to the new Perth Stadium, fantastic management, long lease term and iconic status, all weigh in favour of the business.”
The Victoria Park Hotel is being offered for sale via Offers to Purchase, closing December 6.
