Melbourne, 4 August 2014 – Palram Australia Pty Ltd is set to open a new Derrimut facility, after leasing an industrial premises in the West Park Industrial Estate.
Located at 34 Buys Court, the 5,178sqm property benefits from freeway exposure and features a significant canopy area, large hardstand offering excellent truck circulation and external storage. The property also includes a large corporate office, signage opportunity and multiple container height RSDs.
Palram Australia committed to a five-year term on the property, with an initial rental of $336,570 per annum.
CBRE’s Mr Kalaitzis, who negotiated the lease, said the deal was evidence of increased demand for medium sized industrial buildings within Melbourne’s western industrial region.
Further demonstrating the strength of demand in the precinct is the recent leasing of a facility at 89 Derrimut Drive.
The 3,857sqm property comprises a corporate office warehouse facility featuring a 500sqm canopy, three on-grade roller shutter doors, a recessed dock, large handstand area and abundant onsite car parking.
Mr Kalaitzis and Todd Grima negotiated the deal on behalf of the private lessor, with an initial rental of $300,000 per annum. The term is five years.
