Nylz H. Reyes is a Senior Associate for CBRE’s Valuation & Advisory Services. As a member of the Seniors Housing & Healthcare Valuation Group, he focuses on the assessment and financial analysis of investment grade healthcare and healthcare-related properties throughout the U.S. The property types covered by the Healthcare Specialty Practice includes seniors housing communities, skilled nursing facilities, ambulatory care centers, medical office buildings, and specialty hospitals.
Mr. Reyes’s experience includes third-party valuations, market studies, feasibility analysis, lease and cost analysis, operational and acquisition due diligence for single and multi-asset portfolio transactions. Clients served include a broad base of commercial banks, development companies, operating companies, investment banks, REITs, and private equity firms.
Prior to joining CBRE in 2017, Mr. Reyes completed his graduate studies in real estate finance from New York University. He interned at a boutique investment bank where he was primarily responsible for providing financial analysis on a complete range of commercial properties. Mr. Reyes was a highly active graduate student, as demonstrated by his participation in NYU Stern’s Rugby Football Club and MIT’s Center for Real Estate Case Competition Semi-Finals (2016).
Before his graduate studies, he was a highly specialized critical care and emergency room nurse for both adult and pediatric patients. Mr. Reyes has worked at several hospitals in Philadelphia with the most recent one being the Hospital of The University of Pennsylvania (HUP). He completed his undergraduate studies at North Carolina A&T State University where he graduated with honors and played college football following his service in the U.S. Army.
