Professional Background
Michael Barlow is the Head of Global Workplace Solutions in the Pacific, based in Canberra. In his current role, Michael oversees the operational and strategic planning of over 50 clients accounts in the Pacific.
Michael brings extensive experience in understanding, meeting, and exceeding client expectations across the occupier landscape. His experience in integrating diverse client requirements into holistic client solutions in complex operating and business environments will ensure an end to end and customized workplace solution is achieved for all clients.
Michael is also in charge of leading CBRE’s Indigenous Centre of Excellence (ICOE) with an aim to increase supply chain diversity and connecting Indigenous organisations with business opportunities through CBRE and its client base.
Experience
Michael has 20 years experience in the Property industry including over 10 years leading a range of customer service and technically capable teams for Private and Public sector clients. Key roles for Michael have included Head of CRE and Director at Broadspectrum Property, National Director at JLL, General Manager ACT for Five D Holdings and Property Director at Government Agency’s.
Michael has proven operational, tactical and strategic planning capabilities along with a commitment to building high performance contract delivery teams. He is constantly looking to improve the way outcomes are achieved and ultimately ensure his clients receive the best possible service through continuous improvement.
Understanding the importance of people, process, and systems working together to deliver services, Michael has been involved in identifying and implementing improvements to each of these delivery facets throughout his career, and brings that same improvement ethos to CBRE’s clients.
