CBRE announces new Head of Research for Australia
CBRE has appointed highly experienced property professional Bradley Speers to lead its Australian research platform.
01 May 2018
Mr Speers has more than 20 years’ experience in the Australian and UK real estate and investment industries, specialising in valuations, investment analysis, research and economics. His expertise in financial modeling, economic and property sector forecasting, and interpretation of macro-economic and financial market data will be instrumental in ensuring CBRE continues to deliver thought provoking and market leading research capability.
Joining CBRE in 2014, Mr Speers has been a vital member of CBRE’s Australian Research team, supporting the continued growth and development of this important business unit to ensure the firm provides leading edge, transformational content to its clients. Prior to his career at CBRE, Bradley held positions with Brookfield, Knight Frank Investment Management and Investment Property Database.
CBRE President & CEO for the Pacific Region, Ray Pittman, said Mr Speers’ extensive experience and expertise in the property sector would ensure CBRE continued to build a client-centric focus around its Research platform.
“Bradley will be responsible for the direction and leadership of our Australian research capability – both driving and enabling informed decisions by supporting our business lines with high quality research outputs. Bradley will partner with the wider CBRE business – locally and internationally - on the strategy and execution of market leading events and thought leadership programs,” Mr Pittman said.
“We are delighted to be able to recruit from internally for this important leadership role, particularly given the strong competitive interest received in the position. It highlights the strong talent pool that exists within our business, as well as our continued focus on providing the highest level of service and support to our clients.”
