CBRE has appointed leading property professional Nic Purdue as Managing Director of the firm’s Canberra business.

Mr Purdue joined CBRE 2 ½ years ago to lead the Canberra Capital Markets team, bringing more than two decades of property industry experience.

His promotion follows previous MD Zoe Ferrari’s move to a client-side role at ISPT.

CBRE’s Advisory Services CEO Phil Rowland noted, “Nic has been highly successful in both his Capital Markets leadership role and as a member of the Canberra executive leadership team, driving business growth and team engagement. He stepped up into the interim Managing Director role last month and has quickly proven his capabilities, marking him as the clear choice for the permanent role following a thorough internal and external search.”

Mr Rowland said CBRE had identified significant growth opportunities in the Canberra market and was focused on continuing to strengthen its local platform and client service offering, adding “Nic’s appointment highlights our focus on providing pathways for our leading talent to progress their careers at CBRE.”

Mr Purdue noted, “I’m humbled by the opportunity to lead the Canberra business and work with such a great team and look forward to playing a part in our next growth phase.”
