CBRE Brokers Sale of 216-Unit Apartment Community in Pueblo, Colo.
29 Dec 2021
CBRE announced the sale of Minnequa Shores, a 216-unit multifamily community in Pueblo, Colo., to Anchor Investments. Saul Levy, Kevin McKenna, Mackenzie Walker and Jessica Graham represented the seller, a confidential private investor.
Built in 1974, Minnequa Shores is located at 1210 Lakeview Ave. in Pueblo, Colo., 40 miles south of Colorado Springs and 100 miles south of Denver. The community is adjacent to the 270-acre Lake Minnequa Park and across the street from the St. Mary Corwin Medical Center.
The community has 12 buildings on nearly 11 acres. The average unit size is 540 sq. ft. with one- and two-bedroom floorplans. Community amenities include a swimming pool, playground, on-site leasing office and community room.
“Minnequa Shores is one of the largest and well-maintained communities in the Pueblo apartment market. The owner-operator kept the property in immaculate condition with consistent pride of ownership, and the buyer saw an opportunity to acquire scale quickly while reinvesting capital back into the apartment community,” said Mr. Levy, senior vice president, CBRE.
