CBRE has appointed property professional Ashley Kerfoot to lead its new Advisory & Major Projects business platform in Western Australia.

Based in Perth, Mr Kerfoot joins CBRE as Head of Advisory & Major Projects, where he will develop and grow the firm’s advisory service offering, specifically focusing on the strong pipeline of private and government projects, planned and underway, across the state.

The appointment marks a return to CBRE for Mr Kerfoot, who previously worked for the firm’s Structured Transactions and Advisory Services (STAS) business in Perth from 2011 – 2014.

More recently, Mr Kerfoot has worked as Associate Director of Real Estate Advisory for PwC, where advised on major projects, and prior to this as Commercial Director with CIMC Building Systems.

CBRE Perth Senior Managing Director, Lloyd Jenkins, said the appointment highlighted the company’s commitment to growing a business that catered to WA’s rapidly changing landscape.

“The launch of our Advisory & Major Projects business – and appointment of Ashley to lead it – coincides with an exciting time in the WA economy, with several significant projects in the pipeline that will redefine Perth over the coming decades,” Mr Jenkins said.

“Ashley is ideally positioned to lead this new specialised business unit, having extensive experience in the management of major projects and providing a holistic advisory service to government bodies, indigenous corporations and tertiary institutions.

“We are thrilled to have Ashley return to CBRE and look forward to the opportunities this new business line will bring.”
