CBRE named Australia’s Commercial Agency of the Year

CBRE has taken out the prestigious Commercial Agency of the Year title at the Real Estate Institute of Australia’s 2022 National Awards for Excellence.
The award was secured by CBRE’s Victorian business, which already features in the REIA’s Hall of Fame, recognising long-running success in the Commercial Agency category.
Dean Hunt, CBRE’s Executive Managing Director, attributed the award to the outstanding efforts of CBRE’s Victorian people in 2021 during challenging market conditions and pandemic lockdowns.
“We’re really proud of our Victorian team, our strong culture and the way we’ve been able to find ways to continually connect in this new, highly flexible environment,” Mr Hunt said.
“While 2021 was a particularly challenging year in Victoria, our business lines supported owners and tenants through some of the hardest times they had ever faced, working on rent relief initiatives, online development and engagement programs, and new marketing strategies.
“We also had a key focus on bringing our people back together – both in person and virtually during lockdowns - supporting them through wellbeing and learning programs and flexible working arrangements.”
The REIA awards were staged at Federation Square in Melbourne and featured 21 categories, celebrating achievements across all aspects of the real estate sector.
