CBRE named REIA Commercial Agency of the Year

CBRE has taken out the prestigious Commercial Agency of the Year title at the Real Estate Institute of Australia’s 2023 National Awards for Excellence.

The award was secured by CBRE’s Victorian business, which already features in the REIA’s Hall of Fame, recognising long-running success in the Commercial Agency category.  

Dean Hunt, CBRE’s Victorian Executive Managing Director, attributed the award to the outstanding efforts of CBRE’s Victorian people in supporting clients and broadening the firm’s reach and capabilities.

“It is fantastic for our entire team to be acknowledged and I’d like to thank the REIA for this recognition,” Mr Hunt said.

“Our people are working in so many specialised markets, representing increasingly diverse customer groups. Being able to continue to grow with these markets and customers is a privilege and we’re excited about the opportunities that 2023 will present.”

Highlights from the submission period include CBRE’s Resilient Melbourne event – a three-day, client-focused initiative which involved nine different events and drew on the entire business to assist in curating a series that tackled the industry’s biggest challenges.

It was attended by over 540 clients in-person, showcased 40 different speakers, and attracted over 12,500 visits to the campaign’s digital home page.

Other focus areas included fostering the business’s positive, inclusive and growth-driven culture, attracting and retaining female talent, and the heighted use of technology such as CBRE’s proprietary Pathzz software to support clients’ real estate decision making.
