CBRE took home the Innovation in Property gong at the API Excellence in Property awards ceremony last night.

The agency’s Digital Innovation team secured the win for Perspectives, an innovative software and hardware platform for digital sales, leasing and property management.

The API awards are designed to recognise both individuals and organisations in the public and private sector who are leading the way in the property industry.

David Gerrelli, CBRE’s Asia Pacific Head of Digital Innovation said; “Securing the API Innovation in Property award for Perspectives is a testament to the technology’s inherent versatility and its successful convergence of emerging technologies.”

Perspectives was initially developed for CBRE’s Residential Projects business but has since been adapted to a range of business lines and uses.

“At the height of the market, the team was often selling apartment projects fully off the plan, allowing for onsite sales suites to be demolished prior to the start of construction –however, a softening in market conditions required a longer-running solution that would engage buyers during the construction phase,” Mr Gerrelli commented.

“The future of proptech is smart, digitally connected cities, focused on the wellbeing of the environment and its inhabitants,” Mr Gerrelli added.

“Continually inspired by this movement, Perspectives brings together and underpins CBRE’s expanding suite of digital innovations, through an integrated and collaborative interface that focusses on the customer experience and the elevation of marketing material.”
