A 60ha mixed farming landholding with expansive views overlooking the Tarlee Valley and situated between some of South Australia’s most well-known wine regions has been listed for sale.

CBRE’s Phil Schell and Angus Bills have been appointed to market for sale Glendora – a 60.4ha rural property comprising 53ha cropping and grazing land, with a 7.5ha vineyard planted to wine grapes in 1999 including varieties, shiraz and cabernet sauvignon.

The property, located at 386 Weichert Road, Bethel, includes an original stone homestead built in 1905, bore with fitted osmosis plant, sundry shedding, mains water and ample rainwater with both three phase and single phase power supply.

Mr Schell said the property represented an attractive opportunity for buyers seeking mixed farming, viticulture enthusiasts and potential investors.

“Located just 15km from the world-famous Barossa Valley wine region – at the gateway to the Gilbert and Clare valleys - Glendora is ideal for an Adelaide investor looking for a weekend getaway property; new entrant to the wine sector or a farmer or pastoralist looking to downsize and be closer to the CBD,” Mr Schell said.

“The viticulture component of the property is a low-cost operation with support in place if the incoming purchaser wishes to capitalise further on its position within Australia’s leading wine region.”

The property is being offered for sale via Expression of Interest closing 13 September 2018.
